Just Unreal What We Saw From The Redskins Yesterday. Un Fucking Real.

The level of incompetency from the Redskins yesterday was absolutely mind blowing. It was a fucking nightmare to watch. Just sitting, staring at the TV, wondering what in the fuck was going on. In the first half, Alfred Morris was running at will over the Broncos. So despite having a two touchdown lead, Kyle Shanahan basically went pass, pass, pass, pass, pass, pass, pass pass, pass, pass, pass. RG3 however, was playing TERRIBLE. His progressions were slow and his accuracy awful, at best. And he took way, way too many hits because his WRs couldn’t get open, and if they were, he couldn’t see them.

So the question is, why in the fuck did he continue to throw deep ball after deep ball?  What RG3 should have been doing is playing Alex Smith football with a read option. Because the WRs for the Skins right now are horrendous. Garcon is good, but not great. He’s a fringe 1. Then after that, NOTHING. Santana Moss is not an NFL WR anymore. Hankerson stinks. Morgan stinks. Robinson stinks. The fact those are even the options is laughable. Jordan Reed is the best receiving threat and sometimes only receiving threat on the field, but their only checkdown option. Can you imagine a scenario where Shannahan and RG3 could be rational and change the offense scheme to, I don’t know, one that fucking fits the players they have on the roster? Two tight end sets with Reed and Fred Davis sounds really fucking good right now (and fucking 3 weeks ago). It’s ABSURD they are trying to run some big time offense without any of the personnel required.

What they were doing was like if a basketball team decided to rely on the 3 but trotted out 5 centers. Mind blowing coaching decisions. The Skins have two good running backs, and a QB who, despite still not being 100%, can be shifty enough to run the read option. So instead of sticking to the fucking small ball, smash the run plan, they threw 100 wobbly, ill advised passes in a row with the fucking lead on the road vs Peyton Manning. It was a big pile of horseshit. Enough is fucking enough. They need to come to the realization this shit is not working, and then fucking make the changes to make it work. It’s an atrocity Alfred Morris has yet to carry the ball 20 times in a single game this season. A joke.

Entering Sunday, nobody expected the Skins to win the game, but what we did expect was just a little competence from them. It was week 8. Just unreal what we saw from the Redskins yesterday. Un fucking real.

PS: Three positives from the game: 1) Alfred Morris looked very good. 1) DHall played really well again 3) and Garcon made a nice catch. Everything else can eat a big costco sized dick.
