Bruce Pearl Roasting Peter's Basketball Skills During His Hometown On 'The Bachelor' Was The Best Moment Of Pearl's Career
I'm not going to sit here and pretend to be the biggest fan of The Bachelor. I watch it, used to watch it more, but I had to tune in last night knowing that Peter was going to Auburn. More importantly, knowing that Madison's dad is an assistant coach for Auburn. It didn't disappoint.
The volume is a bit low, but during this drill Bruce Pearl just unleashed hell on Peter. It was my favorite highlight of The Bachelor that I can remember. Sure, I might be biased be a basketball fan, but that's all I needed to know. He dropped this line on the pilot. It's by far the best moment I can think of when it comes to Pearl's career. Nothing else comes to mind. No sir, not one thing at all.
“This happens in camps all the time,” Pearl said. “Of course, they’re six or seven years old, but that’s okay. Don’t worry about it.”
Honestly, that's an insult to six or seven year olds. Peter fucking stinks at basketball. It was all Twitter could talk about considering the college hoops slate sucked last night.
He also had no idea who the hell Charles Barkley was, which is just, that should be a crime.
Now that said, I could watch Madison do basketball drills all damn day. Even if I found this out about her and her dad, which again, should be a crime. She lost a state title game 15-2! 15-2! Why? Because her dad decided to run a stall strategy and then the other team did the same thing. No game should ever be 15-2.
Long story short, Madison can play any day of the week on my team. Peter sucks at hoops.
