Wake Up With A Batter Literally Chasing A Pitcher Into The Outfield And Trying To Kill Him

I've seen this before but I always forget about it, one of my favorite baseball fights EVER. Rod Allen, now the Tigers announcer who fought his partner over a chair, charges the mound while overseas in Japan. He really didn't like to be thrown at, especially when he was having a big day at the plate. Allen doesn't waste any time after the pitch and he takes off immediately to try and pummel the pitcher. The pitcher makes a smart play and absolutely bails and sprints to...well the outfield. Both teams are out there, Allen is mowing through the other team trying to kill this guy. I mean he wanted blood on his hands. Literally every player from both team was out in the outfield making sure the pitchers head wouldn't be leaving his body. This was an absolutely electric fight.
