BlackJack and Lo Duca's Horse Racing Plays of the Day

It's a dreary Thursday here in New York City, but don't fret, we can still spice up your afternoon with a little horse racing action. We've got big tracks back online today and my first target is going to be the early Pick Five at Gulfstream Park. I've also got a little night time action for you from Charles Town down in West Virginia. Paulie focused his attention on the early Pick Five at Laurel Park. Let's get at it, baby.

First Race: This is Gulfstream's typical first race, maiden claimer. You need coverage here. My top choice is the first time starter (7) R U Royalty. But I'm also using 4,6,10.

Second Race: This is our single. The (2) Iconic has Irad Ortiz in the irons and is trained by Michael Maker, they are a hell of a combo. This is a horse that has run at Keeneland and Churchill, so the back class is there.

Third Race: Kind of an open race, so we're going to use the top choice (3) Higher Authority, but also cover with 4,6,8.

Fourth Race: Jorge Navarro and Irad Ortiz? Yes, please. I like (8) First Rate best, and will also include 4,6,7.

Fifth Race: My top choice here is the (3) Peppi The Hunter. I love that Paco Lopez is riding this horse, because he will be aggressive with him and I think that's what this one needs. I'm also using 6,7.
