Vanessa Bryant Posts A Heartbreaking Tribute To GiGi As Her School Jersey Gets Retired

This just turned me right into a puddle. This is just the second time Vanessa has posted or said anything since the helicopter crash that killed Kobe, Giannia and 7 others. I'll be the first to admit I'm an emotional dude too so seeing something like this just crushes me. Maybe it's being a new dad and just seeing a parent speak about losing a child, but after the first couple of days where it was a lot of emotion, this is the first time that I got emotional seeing or reading something about Kobe/his family. 

I do love the story of GiGi going and asking to play with the boys team. That's the least shocking thing I ever heard, mostly because of the stories coming out of everyone saying she reminded them of Kobe. I'm shocked she didn't go ask to play varsity too and lead them in scoring.
