James Corden Addresses The Allegations That He Doesn't Drive During Carpool Karaoke

For context, here’s a video that came out a couple weeks ago

Horrifying. I hadn’t felt that betrayed since my parents told me Santa Claus wasn’t real. Do I accept James Corden’s explanation? I mean I guess. But I only accept it because it’s a fact. Apparently there are some Carpool Karaokes where James and his guest are towed and it’s usually for safety reasons. Fine. The thing I’m baffled by is James Corden being baffled that people were upset about him not driving during Carpool Karaoke. Sure the list of Carpool Karaokes where he has driven is much much longer than the list of Carpool Karaokes where he used a tow but that’s not the point James. The point is that we didn’t know the second list existed at all. We didn’t know that was a thing, and that’s where the feeling of betrayal comes from. At least now the truth it out there and we know it’s a thing.
