North Korea Sends South Korea A "Threatening Fax" To Say That They Could Strike Without Notice
SEOUL (CBS DC) – Tensions between North and South Korea kicked up a notch after a threatening fax was sent from Pyongyang to Seoul on a special communications line between the two rival capitals. In it, the North’s National Defense Commission warned it could strike “without notice,” reports South Korea’s Yonhap News Agency.
First of all, isn’t that a notice? Isn’t telling someone that you could strike them without notice, inherently, putting them on notice? Doesn’t really seem to make all that much sense. Nonetheless, how about the fact that it was a fucking fax? Really feel like CBS just glossed over that fact. A fax. Really, Kim Jong? That’s what we’re going to use to strike fear into the South Koreans? A motherfucking facsimile? What, the beeper towers were down? Someone was on the house phone so you couldn’t get the dial-up working to send an email? Jesus Christ, North Korea get it together. A threatening fax is like a 3 year old telling his dad that he can beat him up, your only response is just patting them on the head, chuckling, and telling them that they’re cute.
