Eminem Dropped A Surprise New Album! ...Along With A Music Video From The First Person Perspective Of The Las Vegas Strip Shooter

Eminem has never been one for subtlety. He's going to bash you over the head with his bluntness repeatedly until you get his point. This is... well, this is a lot. A first person perspective of the Vegas Strip massacre, including what appears to be actual cell phone footage from that tragic day, in the name of gun control and mental health. I guess, man. A person in the public eye with the ability to reach millions of ears and eyes speaking out against an ongoing issue is certainly commendable. But there's gotta be a better way to go about that than, "You gotta hear both sides." 

He's made his career by living over the line. Nothing's ever been off the table, the man used to talk about murdering his own ex-wife and mother routinely, often on consecutive bars. None of this comes as a surprise, and it has people talking about new Eminem music in 2020. Which is a miracle unto itself, and the ultimate aim of releasing new music for any artist no matter how long they've been in the game. Most of the people talking right now are Ariana Grande fans because while this video is garnering plenty of attention, one bar in particular is getting even more talk at the moment.

Again, shock value is what has always grabbed him headlines, had him protested, CDs smashed in the streets, all of it. He's been openly feuding with Mariah Carey for over 20 years. He goes after pop stars more frequently than rappers because it gets far more traction. It's also a much easier to publicly win, outside of that time Mariah got Gucci Mane on a track and racked up a record-breaking number one single at his expense. It's like Kevin Garnett picking on point guards. Inarguably very funny, just not as tough as it appears at first glance.

Ed Sheeran, Black Thought, Q-Tip, and Anderson Paak headline the features of the Alfred Hitchcock inspired album, whose voice also serves as the skits for MUSIC TO BE MURDERED BY. Eminem also snuck in a feature from the extremely recently deceased Juice WRLD. 20 tracks, over an hour long, one of the songs samples Serani for reasons no one will ever understand. 

I say all that to say this: turn off the Call of Duty and stream CIRCLES by Mac Miller instead.
