Emmanuel Acho Snitches On Live TV That 2010 Texas Team Were Paid $1k Per Interception

OBJ giving LSU players “fake” (it was real) money is all the talk in the college football world. Instead of us focusing on whether or not LSU has the greatest season ever, we are focused on discussing OBJ, which is exactly how we wanted it.

On ESPN today, Emmanuel Acho, former Texas Longhorn, decided to mention his brush up with money while in college.

"We went to the national championship game in 2009 and ... it was public to the team, for every interception the defensive back got, they were going to get $1,000," Acho said of Texas' 37-21 loss to the Crimson Tide on Jan. 7, 2010. "For every pick y'all got against Alabama in the national championship game, you're going to get $1,000. Now, the difference is we just didn't do it publicly on the field.”

Snnnnniiiiiitttccchhhh. Why even mention this? Are you trying to get your 2009 team voided in the history books? Also, what the hell is going on with these former Texas players only giving away 1k per interception? Are they broke? Only $1000? Is this a D3 national championship game? Maybe that’s why Texas stinks now. They heard their alumni were paying dog shit money
