Adam Boqvist Is A Fucking WEAPON. Shot Clocked At 98MPH
Ho hum, just a CASUAL 98 MPH on a Wednesday afternoon. I don’t know what this skills competition was. Some sort of open practice for Chicago kids to come out and watch and Adam Boqvist put on a SHOW. 98MPH. 98. NINETY-EIGHT. The kid weighs something like 170lbs and he can absolutely drift it. That just goes to show that God has favorites. There are certain people on this Earth that are made differently. It’s like when Pedro Martinez at 5’10 and 165lbs had the best 4seam fastball, curveball, change-up, and then also had a nasty 2-seam and cutter. Why? Because God decided to turn his arm into a laser when he was born. Simple as that. And maybe steroids. But mostly just genetics.
Boqvist has rare gifts. Here is hoping he turns into a complete player at both ends because there are very few people in history who can do what he does with the puck and with his feet
