Tonight Zdeno Chara Will Be Playing In His FOURTH Decade In The NHL

Tonight Zdeno Chara will join the club of players to skate in 4+ decades in the NHL. Just an insane stat. Joe Thornton and Patrick Marleau will also be joining him. (I know he didn't play the entire 1990s but you get the point).

Zee is an absolute monster and doesn't look like he's slowing down anytime soon. He's on a 1 year deal and I suspect he'll keep taking these one year deals until he truly thinks he is done. Even if he's a step slower or a step behind his presence alone scares other teams. Yet he has 5 goals, 8 assists for 13 points in 40 games this season. An offensive juggernaut! 

Playing over the span of 4 decades and still being a top defenseman is an unbelievable feat.
