Brandon Lloyd Raps, Too
When I found out Brandon Lloyd turned down six different NFL teams, including the Patriots, to make a direct-t0-On Demand zombie movie with the fattest, drunkest, runt of the Baldwin litter, I thought he was out of mind. But I had no idea he could rap too. This is his magnum opus “Chambers,” the music video to go with “After Effect” (original title: “The Removed”). Now it all makes sense. When you’re this kind of a double threat as entertainer, you don’t waste your time catching passes. Lloyd playing football instead of sharing his talent for Hip Hop with the world is like Moonlight Graham playing minor league ball instead of going to med school. If Brandon had only been a rapper for five minutes, that would’ve been a tragedy.
Far be it for me to give a gifted artist like him advice, but I’m going to suggest his signature move – both for zombie hunting and rapping about zombie hunting – should be immediately flopping to the ground. Even an entertainer as versatile as Brandon Lloyd needs to play to his strength. @JerryThornton1 (Thanks to @BillFletch)
