Campbell Shattered His Leg, Buchholz Slept Funny. Campbell Is Back First

I know you can’t compare different sports. I know it’s apples and oranges. But you know what? I’m gonna do it anyway. Campbell shattered his leg on June 5th. Buchholz last started June 8th and hasn’t been back since because he slept funny. Well now he might not even have the endurance to start in the playoffs. Now the guy who was our ace may be out of the bullpen for a World Series run. And it’s not like doctors told him to sit, James Andrews said he’s fine a month and a half ago. When you’re in a pennant race and you’re cleared to play you flatout have to be grittier than that. You have to play through some discomfort. You have to be Gregory Campbell.
