Anybody Who Ever Once Doubted Carson Wentz Is A Moronic Bastard. Thoughts And Prayers To The Haters

They doubted he was a franchise quarterback. They said he couldn't lead this team on a game winning drive in the 4th quarter. Nobody gives him the benefit of the doubt for having absolutely nobody to throw the ball to. Nobody gives him the benefit of the doubt because he has a head coach who just forgets that you're allowed to run the ball. Nobody gives him the benefit of the doubt for having an offensive line who couldn't block a group of 1st graders. The blame goes straight to Carson and you've got absolute buffoons out there who have the nerve, the AUDACITY, to say shit like they'd rather have Nick Foles.

Then what does Carson Wentz go out and do? When all of his top playmakers (read: overpaid sacks of shit who think they're way better than they actually are) get hurt and he needs to put the team on his back? Well he leads the team down the field to tie it up late in the 4th quarter and send the game to overtime last week. Then he follows up that drive with a game winning drive the first possession in overtime.

Then we get to this week. He had a questionable fumble in the 4th quarter. Immediately everybody pounces on Wentz. Immediately everybody starts to doubt him. The haters puff out their chests and think they can get all snarky with everyone.

It doesn't matter that Carson had one of the most brilliantly placed touchdown passes of the season earlier in the game to Miles Sanders.

They just focus on the fumble because that's what fits their narrative the best. These people are all idiots. They don't watch the game, they simply watch for Wentz mistakes. They want him to fail because they care more about their take being right than they care about the Eagles. If you hate on Wentz, it's because you are a selfish egotistical jackass. That's fine, though, because Carson Wentz doesn't want to hear anymore noise. He wants silence. And he silenced the haters with yet another game winning drive this week. And the touch on this ball to Greg Ward Jr? Majestical.

Shoutout to Greg Ward Jr. by the way. What a story this kid is turning out to be. And it's just incredible how much better this offense looks when they don't, ya know, just drop touchdown passes. A great snag by Greg Ward Jr and an even prettier throw.

2 weeks in a row. I know the competition sucks but these are still division rivals. 2 weeks in a row with the season on the line. 2 weeks in a row when the defense couldn't do shit to help out the offense. And 2 weeks in a row Carson Wentz leads this team down the field for the win. I don't know what else you need to see to realize that Carson Wentz has the clutch gene.

And speaking of clutch gene, at least the defense finally showed up for the final play of the game to not only secure the win, but to cover as well.

Good teams win, great teams cover.

We're on to Dallas. Go Birds.
