The Bears Path To The Playoff Looks...Plausible?
We didn’t really talk about the Bears win over the Lions on Thanksgiving because it felt like a year ago and the company was shut down but with the Vikings losing last night all of a sudden…there’s a gleam, men. There’s a gleam. It’s playoff machine szn. And since the ESPN playoff machine doesn’t embed we have reddit user r/dasoxarethechamps05 to thank for a nice simple excel spreadsheet.
You can throw away the 8-8 scenario because the Bears aren’t lucky enough to play in the NFC East, but I don’t know…you throw a spreadsheet at me and I will start to believe in anything. Dallas is a win, split KC/GB, and it’s all right there in week 17. Phillip Rivers can out-duel Kirk Cousins at home and then the Vikings are definitely losing to the Packers. The Rams could definitely lose to 3 out of 4 as well with Seattle and San Francisco on the schedule.
The Blackhawks are a mess right now. I will take anything shred of hope from any team to occupy my brain between now and St Patrick’s Day. The Bears have a path. I am going to be on board on Thursday night because we don’t have any other choice.
