The Big Rig Is BACK - There's An Emotional Night Ahead For St. Louis At Enterprise

Tonight the Big Rig makes his triumphant return to the Enterprise Center in beautiful St. Louis, Missouri. The same building he debuted for his hometown team just nearly over a year ago he now re-enters as a Stanley Cup Champion. The Blues and Doug Armstrong are expected to present him with his Stanley Cup Championship ring before the game in what promises to be an emotional and awesome moment for all in attendance.

Pat has been an effective player for Tampa so far this year with 7 points in 15 games. They are trying to find some consistency right now but the odds would suggest that after being one of the best teams of all time last year, they should figure it out pretty soon. Its rare that free agency breakups work out for all parties but it seems like this one may be the case. The Blues are currently in 1st place in the Central and The Rig is contributing on a team that should eventually shake things out and should be in contention deep into the Spring. All things considered, its going about as well as you could have hoped for other than #7 returning and going back to back.

I would expect nothing less than a gigantic ovation tonight and probably a couple tears falling. St. Louis loves Pat Maroon and Pat Maroon loves St. Louis, and someday I'm sure he will be back in town to stay.
