Only Way The Giants Piss Me Off Today Is If They Win
There’s no way around it – this game is gonna be a problem. Are the Seahawks a different team without their 12th man? Absolutely? Are they still infinitely better than the 2013 NY Giants at MetLife or on the fucking moon? Absolutely. This is the last trip away from their friendly confines until they presumably return for the Super Bowl. You don’t think Pete Carroll is rallying the troops to make a mark today? Treating this as a MetLife championship warmup? Under different circumstances, maybe there’s a chance Big Blue catches Russell Wilson, Beast Mode & their suffocating D off-guard. Not today though. I’ll still be pulling for the G-Men. I’ll still be tweeting about the good, bad & ugly. But I’m already resigned to the fact that, not only is this the worst season in about 10 years, but this afternoon might be up there with the Carolina game as the worst of it. The only way the Giants can piss me off is if they put together a “too little, too late” effort and screw up their 2014 draft winning a game they have no right to win.
