Welp, The Miami Dolphins Are Officially On Fire. Colts Fall To Dolphins 16-12
This might have been the worst performance of the year so far. It looked so promising when Darius Leonard stripped the ball right from the get-go!
But alas, we would give the ball right back with an interception.
The 1st half was just despicable on both sides. We couldn't run the ball (27 rushing yards), scored 0 points, just brutal. We made the 29th ranked rushing defense look like the 85 Bears. We went to halftime down 10-0 and unprepared. Hoyer was not playing great at all, Twitter was DEMANDING Swag Kelly to hop in, it was uglyyy. My Run The Damn Ball shirt may be the reason we couldn't run because after I switched shirts at halftime, Mack finally found open holes.
Whatever Coach Reich said at halftime got our shit together as we would score 12 unanswered points. 2 field goals from Vinny, and a TD from Hoyer to Ebron.
We would've been up 13-10 but Vinny missed his extra point. I don't know what it is man. He's drilling 30, 40, hell 50 yarders but is struggling with extra points. We just gotta start going for 2 no matter what at this point.
The Dolphins would score 2 more field goals leading the game 16-12. FitzMagic was elusive in the pocket. Dude was slithering like a snake all game. The Colts would have the ball with 2 minutes left. Brian Hoyer who wasn't having his best game was 16 yards away from adding a game winning drive to his career. It came down 4th and 10 on the 16-yard line. Hoyer found Ebron but was 2 yards short. Zach Pascal was wider than my damn fleshlight!
I thought I was the most pissed off about the game, but surprisingly Frank The Tank was more pissed off than anyone!
I don't understand. We make BAD teams look GREAT, and make GREAT teams look BAD. Every. Single. Time. On the brightside, I didn't have to give any more LinkedIn Endorsements.
On the downside, we're on a 2 game losing streak and still banged up. MVP's go to Darius Leonard (13 tackles, 1 sack, 1 INT, 1 forced fumble) and Jack Doyle (1 TD, 44 yards). Poor Dwight Freeney didn't deserve this during his Ring of Honor. We got the Jaguars next week in a divisional matchup. Hopefully the Brisket is back on the menu next week. As always, Go Horse.
