Our team was making fun of this guy a couple weeks ago for wearing pink socks and a cut off hoodie in our men’s league in West Chester. Saw these pics on the league’s Facebook page and found out it was actually Smitty. What kind of psychopath cuts off the hood to a hoodie and wears pink socks unironically to a competitive men’s softball league game?

Even though I’m pretty sure unironically isn’t a real word that’s also the key word here. Did Smitty wear these socks because he thinks he’s a softball badass? Like was he trying to be that guy? Or as the reader says did he wear these unironically? Did he not even realize that everybody was mocking him? To be honest I have no idea. This is the first time I’ve ever seen Smitty. My guess is he thinks he’s like the Babe Ruth of his softball league and wants to let everybody know it. I just refuse to believe anybody could dress like this unironically. I’m curious to get his take on this. I’m sure we’ll here it soon.

PS – How about the guy on his horse backing up Smitty in the last picture. Chill out bro. It’s softball.
