Woohoo....Another Season Of The Cavs Tanking And Rebuilding Starts Tonight

CLEEEEEEVLAAAANDDDD!!! Alright I can't even do it. In my 26 years on this earth, I've never been less excited for one of my sports teams to start their season. The Browns stink every year, but we're always neck and neck in the playoff race until Week 2. Opening Day in baseball is a national holiday, regardless of if your team is supposed to be good or not. And the Buckeyes have been the premier college football program for as long as I can remember. But this Cavs team........woof. And it's not because we're short on story lines. We actually had a pretty notable off-season.

- Hired one of the best college basketball coaches in the country, Michigan's John Beilein

- Had 3 first round picks -- Darius Garland (#5), Dylan Windler (#26), and Kevin Porter Jr. (#30)

- Hired Lindsay Gottlieb (for those of you that don't know, she is a FEMALE!!)

And then we still have skinny Kevin Love and some other hometown favorites like Tristan Thompson, Larry Nance Jr, Cedi Osman, and Delle. Oh, and D Wade is back in Cleveland!!

Honestly, the roster doesn't seem terrible to me. And we're extremely young, with a head coach that is here to develop talent. So I should be excited, right? But I just can't back into the NBA yet after the four year high and media circus that surrounded us with LeBron James. I don't care that it was two years ago, we went to 4 straight NBA Finals!! And now we have the lowest over/under win total in the league...

How are you supposed to get excited about that? We're going to tank again. And we're going to try and get the #1 pick. And then once again, the NBA Lottery Day will be the most important day in franchise history this spring. I just can't get excited about that after knowing where we've been. It's like banging a 10 for four years, and then you break up and all of a sudden you're fat and bald. What are you supposed to do?

The only thing I'm excited about is the new (old) jerseys…

Absolute fire.

Alright folks, I'm going to do my best to get into this season. But honestly, I'd take the under on the 23.5 wins. We're tanking. We're trading Kevin Love at the deadline. And we're in 100% complete rebuild mode. But I'll give it a little time before we get too far into that, because as of right now we're right in the thick of things in the division…
