District of Champions stand up!!! What an incredible WNBA finals! Can’t ask for anything more than that. 5 great games but the best team won in the end. What a legendary performance from EDD, who left game 2 with back spasms and has gritted it out since. After all the years, getting swept in the finals last year, our Mystics finally reached the mountain top! Just a remarkable season by the ladies. Won the East, and now get to raise a banner. EDD, Toliver, Meesseman, and the rest of the squad deserve this. Washington DC deserves this. Amazing season. Just amazing. Let’s do it again next year.
