US Military Forced To Apologize For A Twitter Joke Where They Threatened To Bomb Area 51 Raiders

The U.S. military has apologized for a since-deleted tweet that threatened to attack ‘millennial’ raiders of the Area 51 Air Force base with a stealth bomber.

The Defense Visual Information Distribution Service (DVIDS) jokingly taunted the UFO fans that gathered at the Area 51 military base in Nevada this weekend to storm the base rumored to house government secrets about aliens on Friday, alluding they’d be confronted with a B-2 stealth bomber.

‘The last thing #Millenials will see if they attempt the #area51 raid’ the DVIDS Twitter page wrote Friday night with a picture of a group of soldiers standing in front of the bomber.

But the tweet that joked about violence against the alien fanatics arriving to the base’s gates fell foul with the crowd, forcing the military to apologize.

Look, I don’t really do politics.  I’ve said it 100x.  I think we’re about to go to war with Iran or some shit?  Not totally sure, but I do know this – that the US Military being forced to apologize for a tweet where they threatened to use B52s to bomb a bunch of morons that said they’re going to raid Area 51 is NOT a good look.  It makes us look like a bunch of goddamn pussies if we’re being frank.  Can’t have it, won’t have it.  President Trump didn’t assemble the world’s strongest military (his words this weekend) just to have a bunch of crybabies on twitter tear it down because they can’t handle even the most mundane jokes.

I mean, it wasn’t even a bad tweet:

I mean COME THE FUCK ON!!!  Iran is sitting over in the Middle East laughing their tits off at us right now.  You think this response to the loud minority on twitter is a sign of strength?

Nope.  It’s embarrassingly weak and I’m disgusted.  Can nobody take a goddamn joke anymore?

In fact I almost wish it wasn’t a joke.  The old adage “you reap what you sow” is especially true if you try to raid Area 51.  Wanna Naruto run into the most highly protected and classified military base in the world?  Okay here’s a few tons of bombs dropped on your head.  Actions garnish consequences.
