Odell Beckham Jr. Just Called Out Gregg Williams For Putting A Bounty On Him Back In 2017

So back in 2017, the Giants played the Browns in a preseason game. Not a huge deal, even though the Browns did go 4-0 that preseason (only to be followed by an 0-16 regular season). Anyways, the Browns defensive coordinator in that game was Gregg Williams, who went on to become our interim head coach and is now with the Jets, who the Browns play this week. So that sets the stage for what just happened in Odell Beckham Jr's press conference:

Bounty Gate 2.0??? I mean, he literally says that Gregg Williams told people to take a shot at him and hurt him. And as OBJ says, his entire life changed forever because of that injury. It led to more injuries, it led to frustration, and he wouldn't be where he is today without it happen. So I guess in a weird way I owe Gregg Williams a thank you….?

But aside from that, this is a baaad look for Gregg Williams. I'm siding with my receiver on this one. And I'm not just going to side with him because he's on my team. I liked Gregg Williams when he was our interim coach. Then again, I would've taken anyone over Hue Jackson, but I do think I would've been okay with Gregg getting the job this year. But after hearing this, and hearing that OBJs teammates have confirmed it, what are you doing Gregg?

There's never a time to hurt someone or to say that out loud, especially in the preseason. That's absolutely crazy. I hope Gregg Williams responds to him. I need a back and forth from these two.

Regardless, it seems like my man will be playing with some fire on this week. I have a feeling Odell Beckham is going to TORCH the Jets on Monday night. His return to the Big Apple…..on the big stage….after an embarrassing Week 1….and against a team that is as deflated as a team can be in Week 2.

The Browns HAVE to win on Monday.
