Brian Flores Played 8 Straight Jay Z Songs At Practice To Mentally Challenge Kenny Stills
The Jay Z - NFL relationship has caused quite the stir in locker rooms across the league. Eric Reed seemed disappointed in Jay Z's decision:
So was Kenny Stills:
As a response, Brian Flores, the Dolphins new coach, decided to play Jay Z at the next Dolphins practice:
As Jerry pointed out in his blog, this was a completely diabolical move by Flores. Almost tone-deaf, which is fitting considering that he is an NFL coach, so the only thing he thinks/knows about is football.
When asked why Flores did what he did, this was his response:
The Dolphins have moved on from crazy Adam Gase to this guy. One of the greatest psycho transitions in modern NFL history.
File this move under how to lose a lockerroom during your first training camp as an NFL head coach. Impressive how quick Flores managed to fuck this up. All for a bizarre mental toughness challenge.
P.s. As a Jets fan, I don't think we talk enough about the Dolphins disfunction. This move by Flores only comes two weeks after their owner caused a controversy with his support of Trump.
