Joe Rogan Describing What It's Like To Tour With Dave Chappelle Will Blow Your Fucking Mind

I know this is from August 8th, but it’s the first time I’m seeing it so I’m going to blog it anyways. It’s always fascinating to hear about this kind of stuff. Celebrity in general is such a wild concept to me. I can’t imagine what it must be like to be as famous as these guys. Walking into an arena hearing twenty five THOUSAND people screaming your name. Your adrenaline must be through the roof. I’ve had two people ask for pictures before and it always weirds me out. Listening Joe Rogan talk about the way Dave conducts himself on the road when he’s in those situations is wild. I’m sure it helps having $50 million in the bank, but still. Watch the whole clip and it’ll blow your mind. If you’re at work and you can’t, here’s a cliff notes version that does it no justice whatsoever:

– Dave and Joe are at the Comedy Store. Dave calls his agent after the show and says he wants to perform with Joe.

– They show up to a sold out Tacoma Dome in Tacoma, WA, set an all time attendance record (25,000 people), and light the place on fire before Dave “pissed gasoline on it.”

– Three hours into the show Dave and Joe do a joint Q&A with the 25,000 attendees. One of them gives him mushrooms while a DJ and hype man are whooping the crowd up. The show lasts five hours.

– After the show they head to the movie theater that Dave rented out for a private screening of Once Upon A Time In Hollywood.

– Dave eats the mushrooms, they watch the movie and then head to bed at 4:30 AM.

– Wake up at 10:00 AM. Everyone gets an IV drip and B12 shots in their asses and are on a tour bus on the way to the private plane.

– Land in Salt Lake City. Board new tour bus.  Repeat.
