"Tony Stewart Night" Down At The Racetrack Ends The Only Way Tony Stewart Night Could, With A Heckler Taking A Fist To The Dome

TMZ – NASCAR legend Tony Stewart straight-up socked a heckler in the jaw at a racetrack Friday night … and the entire incident was caught on camera.

48-year-old Stewart — a 3-time NASCAR Cup Series champ — was driving in a sprint car race in Jackson, Minnesota when he claims his engine blew out on him after just one lap.

A ton of fans flocked to the track to see the race star drive that night — the Jackson Motorplex even advertised it as “Tony Stewart Night” — so Tony stuck around afterward to sign some autographs. That’s when a heckler came up to Stewart — and according to one eye witness, Brandon Woehl — began cussing out Smoke for “quitting” only one lap into the race.Alright so I’ll be honest. I don’t know a ton about Tony Stewart or about NASCAR in general. I know there was the incident when he ended up killing Kevin Ward Jr. but I honestly just don’t know enough about it to feel strongly one way or the other if it was actually an accident or not. With that being said, I know enough about the guy to know that he’s a total lunatic. And with that being the case…

If you show up to “Tony Stewart Night” at a racetrack with the intentions of heckling Tony Stewart, chances are you are going to be taking a fist to the face by the time the night is done. Especially considering the fact that he only raced for one lap before his engine blew out. That’s like walking into the woods, finding a bear, flicking that bear in the nutsack and then being confused as to why the bear ended up attacking you. Luckily for the heckler here, Tony Stewart looks like he hasn’t thrown a punch in a while so there wasn’t much contact.

But all in all? I’d say this was the least surprising headline I’ve ever seen in my life. “Tony Stewart Night Ends With Heckler Getting Punched By Tony Stewart”. You know how people say things like “you can’t write this stuff”? Well you could totally write this one. Seems to be about the only logical series of events that could come out of a situation like this.
