Brandon Bostick Was Supposed To Block On The Onside Kick Instead Of Forgetting How To Football

Seattle – Bostick attempted to make the catch instead of blocking, as he was assigned, and the ball deflected off his helmet. Seattle recovered and proceeded to complete one of the greatest comebacks in NFL history for the 28-22 overtime win. The third-string tight end never found a role in Green Bay’s offense, serving on special teams all season. After thumbing through messages on his phone, alone, for a while in the visitor’s locker room, Bostick spoke. “The game, my teammates, everybody in Green Bay, my family, I feel like I let everybody down,” Bostick said. “I’ll just do my best to try to move on from it. “I don’t know how long it’s going to take for me to move on from it, but I’m just going to do my best to move on from it.” On the play, Bostick was supposed to block and let wide receiver Jordy Nelson recover the kick behind him.

YOU HAD ONE JOB! I was wondering why this butterfingered oaf was on the hands team. I have no idea how Packers fans can wake up this morning. If that were the Eagles I would have been eating bullets for dinner. Granted, you can’t blame one guy for that collapse. Green Bay did just as much to lose that game as Seattle did to win. But big time players make big plays in big games. Bostick just had to either do his job or catch a can of corn. Poor guy is a third-string millionaire for a reason.

Bostick should count his blessing he plays for Green Bay and not a fan base that takes these kinds of things personally. I still want to blast Joe Carter directly in the dick for single handily ruining my childhood.
