Connecticut - A former supervisor at a Waterford school for at-risk children is accused of providing a teenage student with alcohol at a Griswold pond and sexually assaulting him at her home, according to a state police arrest report.
[Police arrested] Nicole Souza, 38, … the former supervisor for the Waterford Country Day school’s short-term family integrated treatment unit in June after learning of a “highly intoxicated” then-15-year-old boy being brought to The William W. Backus Hospital in Norwich.
A witness told officials she observed Souza and the teen engage in “sexual behavior,” police said. A second individual, who described Souza as his girlfriend, also told police he believed Souza and the underage student were in a sexual relationship.
Norwich police said the alleged victim was driven by Souza to Glasgo Pond in Griswold on June 14. A witness told police she saw the two consuming alcohol before engaging in “sexual activities,” according to the arrest warrant affidavit.
When interviewed by police, Souza denied having sex with the teen, but said they were friendly, with Souza passing on her cell phone number and offering rides even after the boy left the Waterford program.
Souza said she in one instance picked the teenager up at basketball courts near Norwich Free Academy before driving to Glasgo Pond with beer and whiskey. She said the boy and another individual drank all the alcohol, police said.
Souza told police she and the boy went out roughly five times to movies or walks, but denied allowing him into her home.
The alleged victim told police he and Souza had sex twice at her home, according to the warrant. …
In a series of 27 text messages police said were exchanged between Souza and the teen on June 14, Souza, while the boy was being treated for alcohol consumption, asks a second party to delete her contact information.
“We will need space,” police said Souza texted. “Please tell (the alleged victim) I am truly sorry.”
I apologize that this one is not “Newest” per se. But whenever something is new to me, it qualifies in my book. Nothing exists until I say it does. That belief is a central tenet of my narcissism. I don’t know what could’ve come over me that I missed a story like hers. But all I can do it try to make up for lost time, shake this one off, learn from my mistakes and get ready for the next SST.
Now, not to go all Very Special Episode on you here, but let me talk directly to the camera like Kirk Cameron at the end of that “Growing Pains” when he and Boner went to that party where Kristi Swanson offered them cocaine and warn all you Sex Scandal Teachers about the dangers of alcohol. Just because a 38 year old teacher can handle her Fireball and Michelob Ultra is no reason for her to just assume the underaged troubled youth she’s sexually attracted to can as well. Teacher Sex – which is to say real, wholesome, genuine sex between an educator and her 15-year-old student – doesn’t need alcohol. Their fumbled, clumsy and totally illegal boning is all the intoxication either one of them needs.

Looks: You know that feeling where you’re just positive that unflattering photo simply doesn’t do the subject justice? That is Nicole Souza’s mugshot. I wish I had more of her to go on, but this will do. She’s got the look of the 2nd hottest woman waiting for the Yoga class at your gym or the 3rd best looking MILF among your 6th grader’s football moms.

Moral Compass/Bad Judgment: Let me get this straight: A female witness says she saw Souza and the student get drunk and then have “sexual behavoir.” A guy who calls Souza his “girlfriend” figured she and the kid were in a sexual relationship. Then several drunken rides, lake trips, movie dates and walks ensue. Eventually with the kid ending up getting his stomach pumped while she texts his friend to delete her contact info off his phone. Then she gets nine months in jail. Have I got that right? Norwich is one casual town when it comes to how teachers deal with troubled and at-risk youth.
