Take One Look At This Giant, Functional Putter And Tell Me The John Deere Classic Isn't The Greatest Golf Tournament In The World

Oh man, all the haters and losers who point and laugh at the John Deere Classic have to be sick right now after seeing that video. It’s becoming clearer and clearer to people that the JDC is an awesome tournament, it was already very clear to many people including myself, but the rest of the world is finally taking notice. Name another golf tournament that has a half excavator/half giant putter that golfers can hop on and play with, you can’t. The unofficial 5th major pulls out all the stops to make it the coolest golf tournament in the world. Golf is supposed to be fun and not taken too seriously, that’s what the JDC is all about.

How pissed are guys like of Brooks Koepka, Dustin Johnson, Rory McIlroy, Justin Rose, Tiger Woods, Bryson DeChambeau, Franceso Molinari, Jon Rahm, Justin Thomas, Patrick Cantlay, Xander Schauffele, Gary Woodland, Matt Kuchar, Rickie Fowler, Paul Casey, Tony Finau Adam Scott, Jason Day, Webb Simpson, Tommy Fleetwood, Bubba Watson, Louis Oosthuizen, Marc Leishman, Matt Wallace, Patrick Reed, Chez Reavie, Kevin Kisner, Phil Mickelson, Hideki Matsuyama, Keegan Bradley, Matthew Ftizpatrick, Eddie Pepperell, Shane Lowry, Kevin Na, Sergio Garcia, Jordan Spieth, Rafa Cabrera Bello, Ian Poulter, Henrik Stenson, Billy Horschel, Cameron Smith, Haotong Li, Brandt Snedeker, Tyrrell Hatton, Alex Noren, Jim Furyk, CT Pan, Justin Harding, Lucas Bjerregaard and Andrew Putnam that they can’t hop on that bad boy and sink some putts? The next thing the JDC needs to do is make this thing functional

The ceremonial tee shot every year at the JDC should be that thing piping a drive. People would go nuts for it. Have it be a special guest sitting in the driver seat each year and boom, the tournament is that much better than it already is (I would like to volunteer to do it one year). Never hurts to improve on something that’s already great.

By the way, Trey Mullinax saying paper, rock, scissors instead of rock, paper, scissors was some wild shit. I’m willing to argue all day whether or not “shoot!” should be tacked onto the end but I will not, I WILL NOT, even entertain the idea that the order goes paper, rock scissors. It’s rock, paper, scissors and will forever be rock, paper, scissors. Case closed.
