Pimp My Ride: Johnny Cueto Put Subwoofers On His Horse
Oh shit. That is a bad ass ride.
I could be wrong here but I feel like the whole “throw a massive sound system in the back of your car” phase started to die around near 2008 or so. Mostly because around that time, cars just started to come with sound systems already installed that could compete with the ones where you fill the back of your trunk with subwoofers. You could probably actually trace it back to whenever Pimp My Ride stopped airing new episodes. So yeah, right around 2007 or 2008.
With that being said, we need this to become a thing. We already have Lil Nas X making horseback riding cool again. Now we have Johnny Cueto tricking out his bronco for his summer whip. So imagine if we could reboot Pimp My Ride and we just have Xzibit bring a bunch of horses to West Coast Customs. Give them some bad ass haircuts. Maybe throw some bling on the horseshoes. Put some grills on their chompers. Subwoofers on the back. Maybe a fish tank in the saddle. You’re a good-for-nothing liar if you say you’re not at least interested in that.
P.S. – Absolute fucking banger of a song playing there, too. Nothing better than throwing the volume all the way up and blasting some latin heat in the summer. I don’t understand any of the lyrics but at the same time, they still speak to me. Latin
