The Cubs Should *Probably* Get A Closer
I’m not a rocket scientist by trade. Or an astrophysicist, mathematician, sabremetrician or anything that could be confused with a really smart person who objectively knows more than you about baseball. I’m just a regular guy running the eye test at home relying on common sense to get me through the day, and my big dumb brain can’t get past the fact that the Cubs don’t have a closer. It’s May 24th, they’re in first place, and they don’t have a closer.
Not that this is news or anything. And I probably sound REALLY REALLY STUPID right now bringing this up because again I’m just a regular guy. No one’s paying me the big bucks to think hard. But even so I just have this gut feeling they’d be better off with a closer.
