I just think that with the age of social media we currently find ourselves living in, it is incredibly rare to see people be so honest with themselves. I mean you log on to Instagram and all you see is millions and millions of people constantly trying to put out the very best versions of themselves, even if that’s not the exact person they are in real life. Because we are constantly trying to impress others and yada yada yada.
But not the British hockey team. They don’t give a single fuck about impressing anybody. They’re shit and they know they are. They aren’t hiding from the fact that they’re shit. In fact, they’re celebrating it. They’re not Canada. They’re not Sweden. They’re not the Russians. And they’re also not trying to be. They’re just shit through and through, and they wouldn’t want to be anything else. It’s refreshing to see.
