Vanna White & Pat Sajak Got Into An Argument Over Him Being A Condiment Hardo
The TV personality and hostess of the long-running series spoke to Fox News on Friday at the 26th Annual Race to Erase MS Gala at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles, Calif., and dished on the very interesting dynamic she shares with host Pat Sajak and how their friendship is able to flourish after 7,000 episodes.
“Believe it or not, Pat Sajak and I have only had one argument in 36 years and that was over putting ketchup on a hotdog,” White told us, before explaining her go-to condiments are ketchup and mustard, while Sajak opts for just the latter.
“I agree it is [weird],” she added.
Pat Sajak and Whitesoxdave aren’t all that different, huh?
I actually believe Whitesoxdave is pro putting whatever the hell you want on your hot dog, but if he blogged this before me he’d be skewering me and telling lies by putting words in my mouth so I beat him to it. Oddly enough he just got mad at me last week for telling Kate that she didn’t need to get giardinara on her pepper and egg sandwich (because why ruin a whole sandwich if she didn’t like it, right) when she was in town.
Listen to the argument ensue on Red Line last week:

Anyway, good for Sajak sticking up for his Chicago roots, but the truth is who really gives a shit? Yes, ketchup isn’t on a Chicago dog, and I respect places that don’t even carry ketchup for that fact, but I think everybody is past the point of arguing about it already. Go eat whatever the hell you want on your hot dogs. You’re not committing a cardinal sin as there are plenty of people who do it. Have some fun and razz em a bit, but no need to take it that seriously anymore.
I also call bullshit that this is the only argument they’ve ever been in. THIRTY SIX YEARS? That’s a LONG ass time. They absolutely argued about the pace of how she walks or about how he pronounces a certain word or something stupid like that at least once in their lives. That’s just way too long to go without a genuine complaint/arguement about/with a co-worker.
