Gameday Throwback - Ozzy Osbourne Arrested In A Blues Shirt For Public Drunkenness

35 years ago today! On May 15th, 1984 our favorite British rockstar turned 2000’s reality show star got absolutely OBLITERATED after a Black Sabbath show and ended up getting thrown in a Memphis drunk tank. This quote makes the whole thing pretty self-explanatory.

“See, I can’t have a casual line of coke — that doesn’t equate in my head,” Osbourne later admitted. “I never went to the bar for a drink, I never smoked a joint. I used to go into a bar to get absolutely shitfaced. It didn’t really occur to me that other people were going there for a drink.”

Hopefully we can see a HUGE Blues’ W tonight and maybe some corresponding celebratory drunk tanks visits from our Enterprise Center faithful.
