I’d Like To Congratulate Jim Beilein on Going to the NBA Because That’s the Michigan Man Thing To Do

Welp this sucks. No other way to put it. Jim Beilein wasn’t a good coach. He was a great coach. Michigan was irrelevant in basketball till he arrived and he instantly made us perennial national title contender. Two Final Four appearances, one National Title* etc. I have no idea who will take over but let’s just hope we don’t become like our football team which is largely irrelevant now. Regardless as much as this sucks I can’t begrudge a guy for going to the NBA. I hope he has success and wish him well. That’s the Michigan Man way. Honor and integrity even when it’s hard.
