WHY WASN'T I INFORMED BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN WAS AUCTIONING OFF A LASAGNA DINNER AT HIS HOUSE????

COS – Springsteen participated in a charity auction as part of the 8th Annual Stand Up For Heroes charity concert in New York City, with all proceeds benefiting military service members and their families after they return home. Among the items up for bid? A day with Bruce Springsteen, including a one-hour guitar lesson, a ride in the side car of his motorcycle, and — yes, lasagna dinner at his house. The winning bid was a cool $300,000: Hopefully it didn’t come from my mother after putting our house up for sale. Springsteen raised an additional $300,000 by auctioning off two of his guitars and also entertained the audience in attendance with a five-song acoustic performance. Below, watch video of the auction and a few of his performances.

COME ON PEOPLE. There’s finally a way into The Boss’ house without having to hide out in the bushes for days and I missed the chance. Sure, I don’t have $300K lying around the shack, but there are ways to get the money. How much can I get for a kidney? Can we just take the “I’d give my left nut” saying literally in this case? Cause I would give both testicles to ride bitch on the Boss’ bike. Infertility and a free lasagna dinner. That’s what I call a win-win.

God, I wish I had “Fuck You” money to essentially pay for a guitar and a Stauffer’s dinner. Who are these people??? I bet where they work their bosses offer health insurance.

I said it before and I’ll say it again: This man is truly The Boss. His charitable efforts alone put him on another level. You may not have to like him, but anybody who doesn’t at least give Springsteen respect as one of the all-time greats either a) Doesn’t know music, 2) Is only familiar with his new stuff (which I’ll admit with exception to a couple things it’s subpar compared to everything else) c) Is missing multiple chromosomes.
