Blink 182 and Lil Wayne Are Touring Together This Summer and I Don't Care What Year It Is, This Is AWESOME
So here’s what we know so far- I woke up this morning, fresh as a daisy, and started scrolling Twitter, when I came across this tweet from the best music venue in the country, Merriweather Post Pavilion in beautiful Columbia, Maryland:
I was like what in the world is this???? So I did a little digging, and saw this image of all of the tour dates:
The Merriweather date lines up, so I’m assuming all those dates are correct and we have a full fledged blink/Lil Wayne summer tour on our hands. Lets. Fucking. GOOOOOOOOOO!
A couple other venues confirmed as well:
I don’t care what year it is or any of that nonsense, Blink and Weezy F Baby touring together is simply incredible. It’s middle school, high school, and college all wrapped into one. It’s going to be the best tour ever. So much nostalgia. So many bangers. It’ll be people all our age just living our best lives. I don’t think we’d appreciate it as much if it was done in 2010. It’s perfect right now.
The sad part, of course, is blink is doing this tour without Tom. Still makes me sad. I was talking to Robbie last week that I didn’t even think I’d go to a blink summer tour this year, but now I’m back in. Plus it’s the 20th anniversary of Enema of the State, so they should be doing something special for that.
PS: People are confused about the dates. The zeros look like eights. So the first date is 06/27.
