So all of Columbus is freaking out about this little love tap that Brad Marchand gave to one of the Blue Jackets players at the end of the game last night. Listen I know that last night was the Blue Jackets first 2nd round home playoff game in the history of their franchise so I’ll cut them some slack, but newsflash this is what playoff hockey is all about. It gets nasty and dirty in the crease. Guys push and shove. They scratch and claw. This isn’t a knitting club. This isn’t European hockey. This isn’t the NBA. This is playoff hockey. This is par for the course. I mean Columbus fans are making it sound like Marchand cut his head off. It was just a little love tap. Just a little reminder this series is going 7. It’s playoff hockey at it’s finest. If you don’t like this you don’t like hockey.
