The 1st round of the NFL Draft is THIS THURSDAY NIGHT and this will be my final mock. By popular demand, I’ve made it a full three-round extravaganza covering Thursday AND Friday nights. If you’re read my mocks before, expect a lot of trades. Without further ado, here is my 2019 NFL Mock Draft 3.0 (and final).  For reference, here are : 2.0 1.0

Please note: I’ve left the Giants #71 selection in they forfeited via the 2018 Supplemental Draft and all picks after that reflect that selection being vacated.

  1. Arizona Cardinals – QB Kyler Murray (Oklahoma)

Murray is small, but big enough at 5’10 1/8” and 207 lbs. Russell Wilson was 5’10 5/8” and 204 lbs. at his combine, so this is NFL evaluators asking for a do over. Murray is repped by “Comeback SZN” co-host Erik Burkhardt, who is also the agent for new Cardinals’ coach Kliff Kingsbury. It would seem odd that the Cardinals would hire a coach that was seen as a bit of a reach and not go all-in. After all, Kingsbury said he’d take Murray “with the first pick in the draft if I could” back in October. The Cardinals have to play the Seahawks twice a year and imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

  1. San Francisco 49ers – DE Nick Bosa (Ohio State)

The draft is about not screwing your pick up as much as it is getting it right and Ohio State DE Nick Bosa is a close to a sure thing as there is nowadays. His father was a 1st round pick at DE, his brother, Joey “Big Bear” Bosa stepped on the field for the Chargers in his rookie season and was an instant impact pass rusher. 49ers are in need of serious pass rush help with only DeForest Buckner being able to consistently generate any and he’s on the interior. Bosa would provide an edge threat to help force QBs to step up into a collapsing pocket.

  1. *TRADE* Washington Redskins (from New York Jets) – QB Dwayne Haskins (Ohio State)

Trade Details: Redskins send Jets 15th overall pick this year along with 2nd & 5th round picks in 2019 and 1st & 4th round picks in 2020.

Do you really think a Dan Snyder-run team is going to just be cool rolling out Case Keenum as their starter Week 1? Haskins threw for 4,831 yards with 50 TDs to just 8 INTs this past season at THE Ohio State. He’s a classic dropback passer with advanced pocket awareness and really good accuracy, as he completed 70.0% of his passes this past season. The Redskins are in need of a starting caliber QB with Alex Smith’s injury so they get aggressive and move all the way up from #15 to nab the most coveted signal caller in this year’s draft. The Jets have been anxious to recoup picks after moving up to #3 last year to get Sam Darnold and this seems like a perfect match.

  1. Oakland Raiders – DT Quinnen Williams (Alabama)

The Raiders need help everywhere along the defensive line. They drafted Mo Hurst who plays DT last year, but Williams is a dominant interior player with tremendous pass rush ability. With Mike Mayock steering Jon Gruden’s pirate ship, I feel like they won’t be able to mess up when arguably the best player in the draft falls in your lap at #4.

  1. *TRADE* Detroit Lions (from Tampa Bay Buccaneers) – EDGE Josh Allen (Kentucky)

Trade Details: Lions send Bucs 8th pick and 3rd & 5th rounders in 2019 Draft.

The Lions started out picking 8th but lined up top 30 visits with all the blue chip defensive players. That’s an odd move for a team who had no shot to draft them at their draft position. Allen is the apple of Matt Patricia’s eye as he is a terrific edge rusher, but also fantastic at dropping into coverage. He’ll be the ultimate chess piece in Patricia’s defense.

  1. New York Giants – EDGE Montez Sweat (Mississippi State)

The Giants traded away JPP last year and Olivier Vernon this off-season, so their edge rushing cupboard is pretty bare. Sweat is a freak athlete who can burned up the combine running a 4.41 40 at 6’6” 260 lbs. He has great get-off, but needs a little bit of refining when it comes to pass rush technique as he’s primarily won with speed and athleticism. But he’s got all the tools to be great.

  1. Jacksonville Jaguars – RT Jawaan Taylor (Florida)

The Jags need to help protect their shiny new QB Nick Foles and they have a big hole at right tackle. Taylor is a powerful people mover that should be slotted in there Day 1.

  1. *TRADE* Tampa Bay Buccaneers (from Detroit Lions) – MLB Devin White (LSU)

Trade Details: Bucs send 5th pick to Lions and also receive 3rd & 5th round selections in 2019 Draft.

The Bucs love White’s speed and athleticism in the middle and it has also become a position of need after losing MLB Kwon Alexander in free agency. GM Jason Licht has been great at getting the player he likes at the appropriate value having traded down in the 1st round in two of the last three years.

  1. Buffalo Bills – DT Ed Oliver (Houston)

Sean McDermott’s defense is typically built from the closest to the ball out. The Bills signed DT Star Lotulelei in free agency last year but lost DT Kyle Williams to retirement. Oliver could step in next to Lotulelei and provide some push up the middle.

  1. Denver Broncos – OT/OG Jonah Williams (Alabama)

The Broncos are a mess along the interior and while Williams would like to play left tackle in the league, he projects best at guard. LG Ronald Leary is coming off an achillies injury and RG doesn’t have many appealing options with Connor McGovern or Elijah Winkinson. Jonah Williams steps in and starts Day 1 inside.

  1. Cincinnati Bengals – LB Devin Bush (Michigan)

The Bengals are in need of some playmakers past the d-line and Bush can fill the Vontaze Burfict role. Bush has great instincts with his only knock being his sub-6-foot stature.

  1. Green Bay Packers – TE T.J. Hockenson (Iowa)

The Packers fall into a dream scenario here as Hockenson is considered by many to be the safest player in the draft. He’s got great size, runs crisp routes, has soft hands, and can throw guys out of the club when he’s run blocking. Aaron Rodgers gets a new toy.

  1. *TRADE* Carolina Panthers (from Miami Dolphins) – LT Andre Dillard (Washington State)

Trade Details: Dolphins swap 1st rounders with Panthers and get Carolina’s 2020 4th round pick.

The Panthers need to protect Cam Newton who just got off-season shoulder surgery and their Daryl Williams could use an upgrade at LT. GM Marty Hurney gives up a 4th next year for the ‘Tank for Tua’ Dolphins and the Panthers get the blindside help they need.

  1. Atlanta Falcons – EDGE Brian Burns (Florida State)

Burns has had 38.5 tackles for loss in his 3-year career at FSU. This season he finished plays more and wound up with 10 sacks. He is a freak athlete, but he had problems converting speed to power on his rushes. A skinny player in college playing around 235 lbs., he bulked up to 255 lbs. for the combine and carried the weight well alleviating some of those concerns about his size.

  1. *TRADE* New York Jets (from Washington Redskins) – DE Rashan Gary (Michigan)

Trade Details: Jets send #3 overall pick to Redskins and also receive Washington’s 2nd & 5th round picks in 2019 and 1st & 4th round picks in 2020.

The Jets need to generate pressure off the edge badly and Gary is the type of defensive end DC Gregg Williams likes. A big run stuffer with pass rush ability, Gary doesn’t have monster numbers, but played last season with an injured right shoulder at only ~40% strength and was the #1 overall recruit coming out of high school.

  1. *TRADE* Miami Dolphins (from Carolina Panthers) – C Garrett Bradberry

Trade Details: Dolphins swap 1st rounders with Panthers and receive Carolina’s 2020 4th round pick.

The Dolphins need to upgrade the interior of their entire offensive line and Bradberry is a high floor player. He can play center to take over from Daneil Kilgore or start his career at guard where he’ll excel at pulling on outside runs.

  1. New York Giants (from Cleveland Browns) – WR D.K. Metcalf (Ole Miss)

The 6’4” 224 lbs Metcalf has been cleared for football activities after undergoing neck surgery in October of 2018. Metcalf’s 4.33 40 yard dash at the combine made him the talk of Indy. The Giants have a sudden need at outside receiver after the Odell Beckham Jr. trade and Metcalf will stretch the field for big blue.

18.   Minnesota Vikings – OG Chris Lindstrom (Boston College)

Minnesota really struggled to run the ball last year behind guards Mike Remmers and Tom Compton. It cost OC John DeFilippo his job and the Vikings won’t make the same mistake this year. They’ll take the top guard available in Lindstrom who should help RB Dalvin Cook reach 1,000 yards and keep Kirk Cousins clean.

19. Tennessee Titans – DT Christian Wilkins (Clemson)

Christian Wilkins is one player I’m confident will have a successful NFL career. This guy has a great head on his shoulders and just gets it. He loves football and falls into a great situation with Mike Vrabel coaching him up. The Titans could stand to upgrade their d-line and Wilkins can play the 5-technique DE in their 3-4 scheme along with Jurrell Casey.

  1. Pittsburgh Steelers – CB Rock Ya-Sin (Temple)

Rock Ya-Sin was a late bloomer at the cornerback position but he’s a badass as evident by being one of the few allowed to wear a single digit number at Temple. The Steelers have had a lot of problems locking up other teams’ top receivers and with a division that now includes Odell Beckham Jr., that will be a priority.

  1. Seattle Seahawks – DE Clelin Ferrell (Clemson)

Seattle just paid Russell Wilson $140M over 4-years and have a talented defensive end that’s next in line in Frank Clark. Linebacker Bobby Wagner is also up for a new deal and while there isn’t an LB worth the 21st pick left, DE Clelin Ferrell is a 4-3 DE that’s a plug and play guy. He makes Clark expendable and the Seahawks continue to cultivate talent.

  1. *TRADE* Denver Broncos (from Baltimore Ravens) – QB Drew Lock – (Missouri)

Trade Details: Broncos send 2020 1st round pick and this year’s 3rd round pick to Baltimore in exchange for 22nd pick.

Word has been out for quite some time that John Elway really like Lock, but 10th overall is pretty rich for him. Ravens new GM Eric DeCosta looks to maximize value and hedge against Lamar Jackson in what looks to be a loaded 2020 QB class.

  1. Houston Texans – CB Byron Murphy (Washington)

Byron Murphy is a smaller corner, but what he lacks in size, he makes up for in instincts and athleticism. Jonathan Joseph is 34 years old and Murphy would be a nice addition to a Texans secondary that will need to stop Andrew Luck in order to continue winning division titles.

  1. Oakland Raiders (via Dallas Cowboys) – OT/OG Cody Ford (Oklahoma)

The Raiders traded OG Kalechi Osemele to the Jets and have a hole at the position. This selection ends the run on offensive line and Ford has the versatility to play guard or tackle.

  1. Philadelphia Eagles – CB Deandre Baker (Georgia

Both Eagles’ cornerbacks Jalen Mills and Ronald Darby are both free agents after next season. The Birds primarily play zone, which is what Baker specializes in with his incredible instincts. Philly moves back and still gets their man.

  1. *TRADE* Cleveland Browns (via Indianapolis Colts) – DT Jeffrey Simmons (Mississippi State)

Trade Details: Browns send this year’s 2nd & 3rd round selections to Colts for #26 overall.

Simmons who was a top 10 talent before tearing his ACL working out for the combine.  The Browns are looking for a DT to push the pocket for DE Myles Garrett & co. but will have to wait a year as Simmons will likely be on IR.

  1. Oakland Raiders (via Chicago Bears) – TE Noah Fant (Iowa)

Jared Cook was the team’s most productive receiver last year but he went to the Saints in free agency so the Raiders turn to Iowa who put their second tight end in the first round with Noah Fant. At 6’4” 249 lbs. he’s got a huge catch radius and ran a 4.50 40 yard dash in Indy.

  1. Los Angeles Chargers – DT Dexter Lawrence (Clemson)

Clemson gets their third defensive lineman into the first round with their mammoth DT Lawrence. He can really move for a 340+ lbs. man and can replace DE Corey Liuget and push DT Brandon Mebane, who will be 35-years old when the season starts, for playing time.

  1. Seattle Seahawks (via Kansas City Chiefs) – WR Hollywood Brown (Oklahoma)

The Seahawks just PAID Russell Wilson and need to get him some more weapons. Doug Baldwin’s production fell off a cliff last year. Marquise “Hollywood” Brown is the most explosive playmaker in the draft GM John Schneider has looked to surround Wilson with smaller, speedier receivers.

  1. Green Bay Packers (via New Orleans Saints) – S Johnathan Abram (Mississippi State)

The Packers traded Ha Ha Clinton-Dix at the deadline and didn’t get a big return snaring just a Day 3 pick. In this scenario, they take the Mississippi State safety can play in the box or single high to help defend the aerial attacks of the Bears, Vikings, & Lions.

  1. *TRADE* New York Giants (via Los Angeles Rams – QB Daniel Jones (Duke)

Trade Details: Giants send their 2nd round pick, #37 overall, to Rams in addition to their 4th rounder this year for the 31st pick.

The Giants are high on Daniel Jones, but they’re not going to overvalue him too much and take him in the top 17. The Giants get great value here giving up their 4th rounder to take Jones in the backend of the 1st round to get that valuable 5th year option.

  1. *TRADE* Tampa Bay Buccaneers (via New England Patriots) – S Nasir Adderly (Delaware)

Trade Details: Bucs send their 2nd rounder, #39 overall + 4th rounder this year Pats for #32 overall.

Adderly, a D-1AA product out of Delaware had a great Senior Bowl and new Bucs DC Todd Bowles places a big emphasis on safeties in his scheme. Tampa Bay also hired Nick Rampone as a safeties coach and he coached Adderly last year at Delaware. I imagine Bowles wants a safety and Rampone bangs the table for his guy so the Bucs feel comfortable moving up with their newly acquired extra draft capital from trading down earlier in the round.

Round 2

  1. Arizona Cardinals – DT Jerry Tillery (Notre Dame)

DT Robert Nkemdiche hasn’t played more than 12 games in his three seasons and new HC Kliff Kingsbury looks for a more reliable option in Tillery.

  1. Indianapolis Colts (via New York Jets) – S Taylor Rapp (Washington)

Rapp is the most instinctive safety in the class and would pair nicely with Malik Hooker.

  1. Oakland Raiders– RB Josh Jacobs (Alabama)

Our first runningback is off the board as Jacobs 4.60 40-yard dash is the main cause for this slide.

  1. San Francisco 49ers – WR A.J. Brown (Ole Miss)

Jimmy G needs more weapons outside of Stoolie TE George Kittle. Brown will pair nicely with second-year receiver Dante Pettis.

  1. *TRADE* Los Angeles Rams (via New York Giants) – CB Greedy Williams (LSU)

Trade Details: Giants send their 2nd round pick, #37 overall, to Rams in addition to their 4th rounder this year for the 31st pick.

Both Rams CBs (Marcus Peters & Aqib Talib) are in the final years of their deals and Greedy Williams provides high upside with the talent to supplant either of them.

  1. Jacksonville Jaguars – S Chauncey Gardner-Johnson (Florida)

The Jags lost Tashaun Gipson this off-season and don’t have to look far for his replacement.

  1. *TRADE* New England Patriots (via Tampa Bay Buccaneers) – Irv Smith Jr. (Alabama)

Trade Details: The Pats move back seven spots (from #32) and pick up an extra 4th round pick from the Bucs in the 2019 Draft.

Smith provides a great receiving option to help soften the blow from losing Gronk to retirement.

  1. Buffalo Bills – N’Keal Harry (Arizona State)

The Bills need some more quality receiving options on the outside and Harry has the upside to be a #1 WR.

  1. Denver Broncos – C Elgton Jenkins (Mississippi State)

Denver lost C Matt Paradis in free agency this off-season and find his replacement in Jenkins.

  1. Cincinnati Bengals – RT Kaleb McGary (Washington)

The Bengals signed RT Bobby Hart last year but he had 12 penalties last year and McGary would be an upgrade with more upside.

  1. Detroit Lions – CB Lonnie Johnson (Kentucky)

The Lions look to upgrade their secondary as 2017 draft pick CB Teez Tabor hasn’t been a big hit so far.

  1. Green Bay Packers – OT/OG Dalton Risner (Kansas State)

RT Bryan Bulaga’s contract is up after this year and Risner can serve as his replacement and has the versatility to kick inside to guard as a rookie.

  1. Atlanta Falcons – OG/OC Erik McCoy (Texas A&M)

The Falcons need to get tougher and more mobile inside and McCoy is exactly that.

  1. *TRADE* New York Jets (via Washington Redskins) – CB Justin Layne (Michigan State)

Trade Details: This is Redskins 2nd rounder in part of Washington’s leap up to #3. Jets also received 15th overall pick & 5th round pick this year and Washington’s 1st & 4th round picks in 2020.

The Jets start reaping the benefits of trading out from #3 by taking Layne who has great potential on the outside boundary.

  1. Carolina Panthers– EDGE L.J. Collier (TCU)

The Panthers look to replenish some of the juice lost to Julius Peppers retirement. Collier is an intriguing prospect with lots of shock in his hands.

  1. Miami Dolphins – LB Mack Wilson (Alabama)

Former Pats linebackers coach, Brian Flores gets his quarterback of the defense in the rangy Wilson.

  1. *TRADE* Indianapolis Colts (via Cleveland Browns) – EDGE Jaylon Ferguson (Louisiana Tech)

Trade Details: Colts get Browns #47 overall selection & 3rd round pick to Colts for the 26th pick.

Jaylon Ferguson broke Terrell Suggs’ record for sacks in a college career and GM Chris Ballard is hoping that type of production can continue versus better competition.

  1. Minnesota Vikings – S Darnell Savage

The Vikings could use another safety opposite Harrison Smith after losing Andrew Sandejo and George Illoka and Savage has the speed, range, and hitting power to do so.

  1. Tennesse Titans – WR Parris Campbell (Ohio State)

The Titans need to make sure Marcus Mariota has the weapons to succeed as he’ll be a free agent in the off-season and they need to decide whether to commit to him long term or start over. Campbell is a swiss army knife that can help his quarterback grow.

  1. Pittsburgh Steelers – WR Deebo Samuel (South Carolina)

Samuel is an ultra-competitive, undersized receiver that won’t match the production of Antonio Brown, but can help replace some of the yards.

  1. Philadelphia Eagles – OT Tytus Howard (Alabama State)

The Eagles look for the heir apparent to Jason Peters in another converted tight end with enormous potential.

  1. Houston Texans (via Seattle Seahawks) – OT Greg Little (Ole Miss)

With the pick used to send Duane Brown to Seattle, Houston goes with a left tackle in the large but nimble Little.

  1. *TRADE* Tampa Bay Buccaneers (via Houston Texans) – OC/OG Connor McGovern (Penn State)

Trade Details: Bucs send Texans their 3rd & 5th rounders in this year’s draft for #55.

Tampa Bay needs help at right guard where Caleb Benenoch was a turnstile last season. They like McGovern’s toughness and versatility as he can also kick inside to center after a season when Ryan Jensen’s a potential cap casualty. GM Jason Licht has also had good success drafting guys out of Happy Valley recently with WR Chris Godwin and LT Donovan Smith who just signed a big extension.

  1. New England (via Chicago Bears) – WR JJ Arcega-Whiteside (Stanford)

He’s not Gronk, but Arcega-Whiteside offers similar box-out-style high point ability as the retired TE. He also ran a faster than expected 40 and could be a steal at #56.

  1. Philadelphia Eagles – RB Darrell Henderson (Memphis)

Henderson isn’t a big back, but he’s got big time make-you-miss ability that will compliment Jordan Howard well.

  1. Dallas Cowboys– S Juan Thornhill (Virginia)

The Cowboys are looking to beef up their secondary and the rangy Thornhill provides the range they crave.

  1. Indianapolis Colts – CB Julian Love (Notre Dame)

The Colts re-signed CB Pierre Desir, but outside of him don’t have much depth at corner where they don’t have to look far to bring in Love who has great ball skills and anticipation.

  1. *TRADE* New York Jets (via Los Angeles Chargers) – WR Hakeem Butler (Iowa State)

Trade Details: Jets send Chargers their 3rd & 6th rounders in this year’s draft

Butler is a jumbo sized wide receiver that can make spectacular contested catches but also has had his issues with drops.

  1. Kansas City Chiefs – EDGE Chase Winovich (Michigan)

Winovich doesn’t have ideal measureables, but has a great motor as the Chiefs look to replace Dee Ford who was traded to the 49ers a few weeks ago.

  1. New Orleans Saints – TE Kahale Warring (San Diego State)

Drew Brees loves throwing to tight ends and Warring has the skills to go mid-Day 2.

  1. Kansas City Chiefs (via Los Angeles Rams) – RB Trayveon Williams (Texas A&M)

The Chiefs look to replace some of what they lost when they cut ties with Kareem Hunt and take the productive Williams near the end of the 2nd round.

  1. New England Patriots – DT Dre’Mont Jones (Ohio State)

Jones has great length and upside at the position as Bill Belichick gets the sign-off from friend Greg Schiano.

Round 3

  1. Arizona Cardinals – DT Khalen Saunders (Western Illinois)

Saunders is a freak athlete for 320 lbs. as he was shown doing backflips earlier in the off-season. He had a sack in the Senior Bowl but needs to be more consistent.

  1. Pittsburgh Steelers (via Oakland Raiders) – S Deionte Thompson (Alabama)

Thompson was once a projected 1st rounder, but the Steelers get good value here at the top of the 3rd with the rangy Thompson with the pick used to acquire Antonio Brown.

  1. San Francisco 49ers – CB Sean Bunting (Central Michigan)

The 49ers need some depth at corner where they have aging Richard Sherman and newly signed Jason Verrett.

  1. *TRADE* Los Angeles Chargers (via New York Jets) – RB Miles Sanders (Penn State)

Trade Details: Chargers send Jets #60 pick for this pick and Jets’ 6th rounder

The Chargers have a good stable of backs with Melvin Gordon and Austin Eckler, but Sanders gives them an alternative to paying Gordon after the season.

  1. Jacksonville Jaguars – TE Dawson Knox (Ole Miss)

Nick Foles loves throwing to TEs and Knox gives him a weapon in Jacksonville.

  1. *TRADE* Houston Texans (via Tampa Bay Buccaneers) – RB David Montgomery (Iowa State)

Trade Details: Bucs send Texans this pick & one of their 5th rounders for the Texans #55 selection.

Montgomery is a shifty back that I’d expect to win the starting job and provide Houston’s offense with some rocket fuel in the backfield.

  1. New York Giants – Forfeited via 2018 Supplemental Draft
  1. *TRADE* Baltimore Ravens (via Denver Broncos) WR Riley Ridley (Georgia)

Trade Details: Part of deal to acquire #22 pick that also includes Denver’s 1st round pick in 2020.

GM Eric DeCosta will be thrilled with this result as they trade way back, get Denver’s 1st rounder next year, and get one of the best route runners in this year’s draft in Calvin Ridley’s brother, Riley.

  1. Cincinnati Bengals – WR Kelvin Harmon (NC State)

The Bengals look for a potential A.J. Green replacement in the 3rd round.

  1. New England (via Detroit) – DE Zach Allen (Boston College)

New England doesn’t have to look for to find a DE that can be scheme versatile in Allen.

  1. Buffalo Bills – EDGE D’Andre Walker (Georgia)

The Bills need more pressure off the edge and look to the Georgia product.

  1. Green Bay Packers – OT Max Scharping (Northern Illinois)

Aaron Rodgers is 35-years old and they continue to look to improve the protection around him.

  1. *TRADE* Seattle Seahawks (via Washington Redkins) – CB JoeJuan Williams (Vanderbilt)

Trade Details: Seahawks give up their 3rd rounder, 93rd overall, plus their 5th round pick for #77.

Williams is a tall corner whose length they can help maximize in their Cover 3 scheme.

  1. Carolina Panthers – S Mike Edwards (Kentucky)

Edwards is a versatile safety who thrives when blitzing.

  1. Miami Dolphins – LB David Long Jr. (West Virginia)

The Big XII Defensive Player of the Year is often overlooked due to his stature, but he’s a playmaker.

  1. Atlanta Falcons – DT Trysten Hill (UCF)

The Falcons look to Hill as a potential replacement for franchise-tagged Grady Jarrett to give them cap flexibility next season.

  1. *TRADE* Indianapolis Colts (via Cleveland Browns) – WR Darius Slayton (Auburn)

Trade Details: Part of the package in addition to a 2nd rounder Cleveland sent to Indianapolis for the 26th overall selection.

The Colts need help on the outside where they have TY Hilton and Devin Funchess, who they just signed to a 1-year deal. Slayton helps beef up their receiving corps.

  1. Minnesota Vikings – EDGE Jachai Polite (Florida)

Polite was a fringe 1st rounder before the combine where he ran slow and bombed interviews getting defensive about his run defense. If Mike Zimmer can harness his aggression, they’ll have a steal at #82.

  1. Tennessee Titans – TE Jace Sternberger (Texas A&M)

This is again about Mariota’s development and Delanie Walker is pretty long in the tooth.

  1. Pittsburgh Steelers – TE Josh Oliver

Jesse James is gone and outside of Vance McDonald, the Steelers don’t have anyone else noteworthy. Oliver is a nice piece to bring along slowly.

  1. Kansas City Chiefs (via Seattle Seahawks) – CB Amani Oruwariye (Penn State)

Kansas City needs help on the outside and Oruwariye is raw but has the traits to be successful.

  1. Baltimore Ravens – LB Jahlani Tavai (Hawaii)

The Ravens lost C.J. Mosley to a big money deal in free agency but draft his replacement here with Tavai.

  1. Houston Texans – EDGE Oshane Ximines (Old Dominion)

The Texans want to develop another rusher to give them flexibility with Jadeveon Clowney who will command monster dollars next season.

  1. Chicago Bears – CB Trayvon Mullen (Clemson)

The Bears need a little help outside as it’s tough to depend on journeyman Prince Amukamara in a new scheme.

  1. *TRADE* Tampa Bay Buccaneers (via Detroit Lions via Philadelphia Eagles) – G Nate Davis (Stanford)

Trade Details: The Bucs picked up #89 in addition to #8 overall for the 5th pick in the draft.

The Bucs again look to address the interior of their offensive line. They’ve got to decide on whether re-sign their first ever quarterback to a second contract and Davis will bring added depth to their greatest position of need.

  1. Indianapolis Colts – WR Mecole Hardman (Georgia)

Hardman is a project for sure, but he’s an outstanding athlete that could be a gadget receiver so HC Frank Reich can get creative.

  1. Dallas Cowboys – EDGE Austin Bryant (Clemson)

Clemson gets their 4th defensive lineman picked in the first two days of the draft. Bryant could flourish in Dallas’ zone scheme.

  1. LA Chargers – G Dru Samia (Oklahoma)

The Chargers need to keep Philip Rivers upright to have a shot and beef up their interior with Samia here.

  1. *TRADE* Washington Redskins (via Seattle Seahawks via Kansas City Chiefs) – CB Isaiah Johnson (Houston)

Trade Details: Redskins acquired this pick plus the Seahawks’ 5th round pick for #77 overall.

The Redkins move down here but pick up a 5th and still get a cornerback they can develop to hopefully replace Josh Norman in a year or two.

  1. New York Jets (via New Orleans Saints) – CB Jamel Dean (Auburn)

Dean ran a 4.30 40-yard dash and is a physical press corner who will thrive in Gregg Williams scheme.

  1. Los Angeles Rams – EDGE Anthony Nelson (Iowa)

The Rams brought Dante Fowler back on a 1-year deal but he’s hoping to cash and in they won’t be able to afford him next year. Nelson will be groomed as his replacement.

  1. New York Giants (via New England Patriots) – CB David Long (Michigan)

Long is a playmaker, but must play more disciplined. The Giants have holes everywhere, so this helps shore up a secondary.

  1. Washington Redskins – WR Miles Boykin (Notre Dame)

Jay Gruden starts acquiring weapons for Dwayne Haskins with Boykin.

  1. New England Patriots – WR Terry McLaurin (Ohio State)

McLaurin is a great route runner, but struggled to stay healthy at Ohio State. At worst, he’ll be a standout special teamer which we know Bill Belichick loves.

  1. Jacksonville Jaguars (via Los Angeles Rams) – RB Devin Singletary (Florida Atlantic)

It seems like Leonard Fournette has been a headache since he’s gotten there. T.J. Yeldon is gone. Singletary provides a small, shifty back that can run in-between the tackles like a Maurice Jones-Drew.

  1. Los Angeles Rams – OT Yodny Cajuste (West Virignia)

LT Andrew Whitworth had to be convinced to comeback and Cajuste provides some insurance for the aging tackle.

  1. Carolina Panthers – WR Jalen Hurd (Baylor)

The converted RB who started over Alvin Kamara stood out at receiver this past year and his type of versatility and size is what exactly Carolina loves.

  1. New England Patriots – QB Ryan Finley (NC State)

Finley is a natural fit in New England with his good accuracy and footwork. He just doesn’t have a rocket arm but thinks the game well.  He can backup Tom Brady and then have a shot to show the coaching staff he deserves to be next in line.

  1. Baltimore Ravens – RB Damien Harris (Alabama)

The Ravens need some more help at RB with their new-look offense and Harris fits the bill. The Ravens like to draft players out of Nick Saban’s program and this seems to be a good match.
