During The Clippers Broadcast Bill Walton Thought A 'Two-Way Player' Referred To Their Sexual Orientation
Man, long live Bill Walton. Just a few days after the college hoops season ends and worried about no more Walton until October we get this gem. He called the Clippers game with his life long friend Ralph Lawler who is retiring. It led to some gems.
Perhaps none more Walton-esque than thinking a two-way player was referencing his sexual orientation. Can’t really blame Walton. He’s a Woodstock guy. He’s like Creed:
This is the best thing about Walton. He’s just the weird grandpa. He can say something like this and no one on the Internet is mad. Seriously, I looked. I didn’t see one person saying Walton was being rude or anything. It was just Walton being Walton.
So naturally if you saw a two-way player around Bill, he’s going to think of sex. That’s just who he is. This is also who he is:
Wanting to drink some Gentleman’s Jack on the broadcast:
You white and play for the Jazz, you Kyle Korver:
Bill Walton has no idea that the Jazz are in Utah
I need a painting of my life story from Bill more than I need air
The guy just wants to call a Rudy Gobert dunk
We need Walton on more broadcasts. I can’t go the whole summer without him. Let him call some NBA playoffs. Let him call a baseball game. Let him call some MLS. Just get that man on the air.
