Not a great look for the tribe. The gay tribe, the Jewish tribe, the bi tribe, the YouTube tribe, any tribe. No one wants an alleged cat-fucker on their team.

For those of you living under a rock, Shane was recently in the news for not fucking his cat. He tweeted the following, which went super viral…

…after people discovered he once gave a detailed account of himself not fucking his cat on an old episode of his podcast, Shane And Friends. Naturally, internet lost its mind and hasn’t been able to stop talking about it. I’m guessing to the point where Shane and Ryland felt they needed to change the narrative with a public proposal tweeted out to their combined  nine-million followers. Feitelberg said it best.

A tip of the cap to you, sir. It’s an all-time spin move. I shouldn’t act surprised, Shane knows how the internet works. He has over 21 million subscribers and over four billion views on his YouTube channel alone, so he knows how to spin a shitty situation. You don’t reach that level of popularity by being an idiot. But it’s still a wild move.

All anyone’s going to be talking about now is how great it is that these two are getting married, how much they support LGBTQ+ marriage, how cute they are etc. etc.. I’m not saying they don’t love each other or that the proposal was for publicity, I’m just saying that the timing is peculiar. Especially considering what he’s been in the news for as of late. Regardless, congrats on the engagement you two! And best of luck training your cat to be the ring bearer.
