The Bruins Should Hire This 4-Year-Old To Sing The National Anthem For The Next 75 Years
I’m not a long-term contract guy. Anytime a team signs a guy for a lengthy deal I usually always question it. Bryce Harper 13-year deal? No chance. Who could forget Ilya Kovalchuk’s 17-year deal? That deal could scar anyone for life. But after watching Landon Mak sing the National Anthem in front of 10,000 fans at the Hershey Bears-Springfield Thunderbirds game, I’m willing to offer him a 75-year contract with the Boston Bruins.
Night in and night out I want this kid singing the anthem at the Garden. How can you not go absolutely crazy for a little 4-year-old? A crazy crowd can lead to wins and if you can’t see that this kid would do that in Boston every single night than you’re an idiot.
We’d also get to see the little guy grow up in front of our eyes, which would make it so much better. I’m sure in a few years his voice will change and he’ll probably suck, but we’ll stick with him through that. If Bieber could deal with a voice change so can Landon Mak. This kid is going to be a rockstar.
Imagine how crazy the Garden would go finding out that Landon got into BU? Or when they show pictures of Landon at Prom on the Jumbotraun? Or even Landon on his first date? The kid would never buy a beer in the city again. He would basically need a red carpet everywhere he goes.
The Bruins would be CRAZY to not fly this kid in and give him the royal treatment. I’m talking family living in penthouses at the Ritz, every dinner at the nicest steak houses in the city, a 24-hour butler service, we need to make this kid the pride and joy of our city. Granted he is from Hersey, Pennsylvania I believe. But if he moves before he’s 5-years-old I think it’d be fair to call him a Bostonian.
