Donnie has done a blog about how much he loves the Liverpool accent, and with good reason, it’s fantastic.  But for me this is even bigger than just how awesome the kid sounds, that last quote he says is tremendous. It’s powerful and intoxicating. “Whaddya laughin at? I’m talking facts here. I don’t do ifs, buts, or maybes. I do absolutes.” Like when this video started I thought there was a 0.0% chance that Mane was the best player in the world, despite the fact that he played incredible yesterday and has certainly been feeling it of last, but now I’m not so sure? This kid has convinced me not with reason but with confidence. If he was trying sell me stock and said that, I’d buy. If he said Brahma was the one true god, I’d convert. Vaccines cause autism? Enjoy polio, future child. What am I supposed to do? He doesn’t do ifs, buts, and maybes. He does absolutes. You don’t listen to a guy who does that and it’s your funeral.
