It’s been a topic for quite some time now. But, if Duke is able to redeem the losses to UNC with Zion playing full strength, Duke is a No. 1 seed. It’s that simple. Duke’s resume is a No. 1 seed. They are the best team in the country when Zion is healthy. The committee also said that they’ll factor in what Zion does this week for seedings.
As for tonight it matters because of the 2-3 zone. Zion absolutely murdered that zone in Cameron. Duke can put him in the middle, play more Alex O’Connell and hope you get shooting from him and Cam Reddish while the attention goes on Zion in the middle of the zone.
