These Parents Who Trained Their Dog to Supervise Their Daughter While She Does Homework Are Geniuses
There are certain people out in the world who just know what they’re doing. About 98% of us have no clue what we’re doing. We came shooting out of our mother’s vagina’s onto a planet we don’t understand and the majority of us haven’t come close to figuring it out, even a few decades in. I count myself among the 98%. For example, at least a couple times a month I get in the shower in the morning and forget to bring a towel. So then I’m just in there and it hits me that I don’t have a towel and it’s a whole process to get one that ends up with the floors being wet. So yeah, I am undoubtedly a member of the 98%.
But then there’s the 2% who know exactly what they’re doing. It’s like they have cheat codes that are available to them and nobody else. The parents who trained their dog to watch their daughter while she does homework are firmly in the 2%. Genius idea. That way, those parents are free to go about their day without having to worry about what their daughter is doing. The dog has it covered and the dog clearly takes his supervisor responsibility very seriously. It’s a win for everybody. The girl does her homework, the dog feels important and the parents get to do whatever they want.
This might be the thing that makes it plausible for me to have kids in the future. I often think about how there’s no possible way I can ever have kids because I can’t imagine watching them every second of every day. I got shit to do man like lay on the couch and not worry about my stupid kid. Judging from the people I know who have a kid or kids, they have little to no time to themselves. But now we have a solution. Just train your dog to stare at your kids and it’s like having a four-legged babysitter all the time.
