The NBA Birthday Prop Bet Betting Theory Is Real And It's Fantastic
So during my weekend at Syracuse I met this bartender who was a huge stoolie. Guy was the man, and he was obviously a degenerate gambler like all of us. He later dm’d me this NBA betting theory which has to do with players’ birthdays. He predicted that Jamal Murray of the Denver Nuggets was going to be a little sluggish in his game last night and advised us to take the under for Murray’s point total of 17.5. Me and my small brain were sold immediately and I tossed a little Sunday night bet on it to end the week.
Murray came out of the gates red hot, scoring six in the first six minutes. We were dead. By halftime he had 12 points. Dead. After 3 quarters he had 14, but the Nuggets were routing the Clippers so maybe they would sit their starters in the 4th?
Murray sat the entire quarter up until the 4:52 mark with the Nuggets up 21 points. Are you fucking kidding me? Michael Malone have some goddamn respect for your players’ safety. You have yourself a second seed team that is one game back of the 1 seed in the West. We’re putting starters back in the game of meaningless games that are all but over? For the love of God.
Well a minute later Murray hit a layup to get to 16 points. Disaster at the Pepsi Center.
But then one minute later our prayers were answered!!!
Victory. What a moment. What a story. What a theory. What a journey.
The NBA Birthday betting theory is alive and well. For now we wait until he dms again and we pounce. If you were along for the ride you are a real one. If you were a doubter and a hater then I have no remorse for you. We are winners.
Shout out Colin the bartender. You are a wizard.
