New Bears DC Chuck Pagano Fucking HATES The Patriots
Chuck Pagano has years of history with the New England Patriots from his time as the head coach of the Indianapolis Colts, so it’s no surprise he feels strongly toward the six-time Super Bowl champions.
Pagano spent six seasons as the Colts’ bench boss, and never once did his squad beat New England. He watched as the Patriots crushed Indy’s playoff hopes and had to — like the rest of the country — watch Tom Brady, Bill Belichik and Co. run through the NFL and claim its biggest prize.
Certainly no one can blame the 58-year-old for having a sour taste in his mouth when it comes to the Pats, but just how deep does the hate run for the new Chicago Bears defensive coordinator?
“It’s a deep hatred,” Pagano said, via Yahoo! Sports. “Respect them, respect (Bill) Belichick, what he’s doing. I respect Tom Brady, what a run they’ve had … so I do respect that. (But) there is a deep hatred there.”
Only time will tell if Pagano and the Bears will be able to knock off New England whenever the next two clubs face off. But if it comes down to the Patriots defeating Chicago — whether it be during the regular or postseason — we can bet the hatred only will get deeper.
I’ll state the obvious. Yes we’re all jealous of the Patriots. Yes we are petty and want Tom Brady to fall off a cliff and die on impact. Yes we just want the Bears to get to the Super Bowl, let alone get to it 9 times, let alone win it 6.
I fucking love Chuckie Pagano speaking up here too. Not only because he speaks for all of America, but because he knows he’s hitched his wagon to the team that’s going to have the best defensive unit in football for the foreseeable future and if he has any chance at slaying his white whale before he hangs up the clip board, it’s going to be riding on the backs of Khalil Mack, Eddie Jackson, Kyle Fuller, Akiem Hicks and 9 other studs.
And don’t even get me started on Deflategate. We all know they were bending the rules and science had nothing to do with those balls having less air in them. I know, you know and Chuckie Pagano knows.
Perfect. Bring them the fuck on. I mean someone has to step up and slay the beast, right? Why not the Bears? The offense is only going to improve in year 2 so fuck it. Bears 31 Patriots 17 in Super Bowl LIV, lock it up and rub it down.
