The Football Gods Are Shitting Snow All Over Kansas City And Pissing Rain On Los Angeles
SNOWWWW FOOTBALLLLLLL!!! We already had a pretty awesome Wild Card round last weekend and now we are kicking off the Divisional round with two bad weather games. Yet further proof that the Football Gods are real and they love us. I know it’s just frozen water slowly falling to the Earth and laying on the ground, but goddamn it’s beautiful to see. I can already see the snow accumulating on Andy Reid’s mustache and making him look like a walrus playing Tony Montana during Tony’s last stand. To be honest, I loved the Chiefs this week just because everyone seemed to be falling a little too in love with the Colts. Yes I know that Playoffs Andy Reid is involved. But so is Coming Off A Bye Week Andy Reid, who is 17-3 after a bye as well as 4-0 after a bye in the playoffs. However, the Colts kicker just happens to be the guy that hit the most famous field goal during a playoff snow game ever.
The graphic showing all of Andy Reid’s playoff losses followed by the loop of Adam Vinatieri’s hitting that kick doesn’t make me feel too good for Chiefs fans. At least to day drink away the nerves during a snow storm (Top 5 thing in life) while trying to put the thought of losing as the 1 seed and continuing their streak of now winning a home playoff game since *checks notes* Joe Montana outdueled Neil O’Donnell 25 years ago.
Regardless, nothing beats snow football. It doesn’t matter if it’s an NFL playoff game, a college regular season matchup, or getting out of school early and playing in a blinding blizzard.
Meanwhile in LA…
As a Cowboys hater, I don’t love this since Dallas makes their bones running Zeke and Dak down everybody’s throat. But Todd Gurley ain’t no slouch and he is coming off a week of rest. Then again, there were supposed to be a lot of Cowboys fans at the game before the wet stuff started falling. Could this be a real thing?
*Thinks about everything I have ever read or heard about LA sports fans*
Shit. Hopefully the Rams can overcome the weather and any home disadvantage to send Jerruh back to Dallas. I do not want to see that smug face during Championship Sunday. Doubly so if that game is in Dallas against the Eagles. And that was your Clemweather Forecast.
Oh yeah and to everyone who bet the Overs before today’s weather changed any lines:
