This Young Padawan Fully Committing To His Lightsaber Death Is An Absolute Legend

Shut it down, my favorite video of 2019 has been locked up already. I couldn’t even imagine anything more adorable if I tried.

I’ve got a niece and nephew (both sorta named after Star Wars characters), and this year for Christmas, I got Luke his first two lightsabers of his own. He’s now well on his way to becoming a Jedi, like his father before him, but I’ll tell ya – this generally isn’t how our battles go.

Usually, we’ll have a bit of back and forth, I’ll get force pushed back many times during (it’s either this or an Iron Man Repulsor Blast, I can’t always tell), and then he’ll get my right arm, followed by the left, and then each leg is cut out from under me, and I’m taken out like mothafuckin’ Count Dooku in ‘Revenge of the Sith’.

I’d imagine that’s how most kids play lightsabers! It sure as hell is how I played as a kid, my older brother taking the falls for me, but not the little guy in this video. No, no, no, no, no. He doesn’t want the win. The battle means nothing to him. Theatrics are the only thing on his mind, and theatrics he displayed, at their fullest.
