Khabib Nurmagomedov/Conor McGregor's Suspension Hearing Pushed Back Yet Again, Now Set For 2019

MMAFighting- Khabib Nurmagomedov had his Nevada Athletic Commission (NAC) case continued upon request and will not receive his sanctions related to the UFC 229 post-fight brawl until January at the earliest, commission executive director Bob Bennett told MMA Fighting on Sunday night.

The UFC lightweight champion was initially supposed to have a disciplinary hearing Monday in Las Vegas, but Nurmagomedov’s legal team and the state were unable to come to an adjudication agreement before the monthly commission meeting, Bennett said. Bennett said Nurmagomedov’s team requested a continuance if there was no set agreement before Monday’s scheduled hearing.

The next commission meeting after Monday is scheduled for Jan. 29, per Bennett, and Nurmagomedov and Conor McGregor’s disciplinary hearings will likely be on that agenda.

Alright, Nevada State Athletic Commission. At first, I understood your side of things.

You gotta suspend Khabib, right? It’s a no brainer. Dude hit a shooting star press onto McGregor’s corner off the cage after UFC 229’s main event. Gotta suspend him. Maybe for life. No doubt. Because McGregor was sorta involved too, defending himself against Khabib’s lunatic teammates, and threw a few shots, he’s gotta show at the hearing as well so the NSAC can act like everything’s all fair and square. This is because Khabib would throw a temper tantrum and likely never fight ever again if not. Because we want that win over Khabib back eventually, we were cool with this.

Today, though, Khabib was supposed to appear in front of the commission and receive his suspension…and he just didn’t. So they granted him a continuance like it was nothin’, and pushed this shit back to JANUARY 29TH! The 29th! Can you believe that shit?!

Conor McGregor wants to fight. That’s a known fact. He’s got the itch again. He wants back into the W column. There’s matchups with Dustin Poirier, Max Holloway, Tony Ferguson, Georges St-Pierre, Nate Diaz, and even Anderson Silva just waiting in the wings for Conor, and this CLOWN Bob Bennett (Commission Executive Director) is acting like he shouldn’t have any urgency with getting “The Notorious” back in there.

Hey Bob, let me ask ya something – do you realize how blessed you are to live at the same time as Conor McGregor? I mean, seriously. Think about it. Give it a gander. This planet is 4.543 BILLION YEARS OLD, and you, Bob Bennett, you absolute, complete and total…

Thank you for the continuance, Bob. Have a wonderful holiday season. See you in 2019.
